St Eval Candle Company

Nestled on a farm in North Cornwall, St. Eval use traditional methods to craft high-quality candles by hand, perfecting the art and science for over 25 years. Our unique pots, wax blends and fragrances are all inspired by nature and our beautiful Cornish countryside. Using only finest ingredients and materials from renewable sources, we are proudly able to produce our own sustainable energy via wind, solar and biomass; helping to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment. In 2011, we erected the UK’s quietest Wind Turbine which, alongside solar panels and a biomass boiler, enables us to produce enough energy to power the entire workshop.

The Wadebridge Bike Shop

We are a family run bike shop in beautiful North Cornwall, who believe that everyone should enjoy the freedom of cycling. You don't need to be dressed in lycra from head to toe (would not be a good look for me) or to have the the most expensive bike in the world to enjoy cycling. So we have attended the shows, talked to the manufacturers and studied the 2017 brochures to bring you a range of bikes (some award winning) that we think will offer something to everyone.

The Bridge Company

Providers of the finest Bridge supplies and products for bridge including premium quality playing cards, bridge score cards, pencils, bridge cloths, coasters and much much more. All your bridge needs in one place.

The Cornish Seaweed Bath Company

Howling winds, harsh sun, lashing rain, coastal chill and salty air….. Skin needs a little extra help in protecting itself from these strong Coastal climates. Seaweed undergoes the full force of these elements with no means of external protection, so it has had to develop its own system of resilience. By walking down to the clean, sparkling and regularly tested waters of the Cornish coastline on a large Spring tide, we hand cut an olive brown variety of seaweed to harness its natural resilience and infuse this seaweed potency in our natural skincare range.

Tamar Field and Stream

We offer expert gunsmith services along with a selection of guns and rifles. Upstairs we have country clothing for sale along with endless fishing paraphernalia downstairs.

Stripe and Stare

Our mission is to continue to make the most comfortable knickers in the world! It has now expanded into a range of Foundation and Lounge wear. All made from our sustainably sourced, super soft Modal.

Emily Nixon Jewellery

Fine jewellery evolved from textures found along the tideline; luxuriously imperfect, naturally irregular. Living in West Cornwall has shaped my work. Beach finds are tools in the process of my making. I love the fabric-like twists and folds of seaweed; the diversity in the contours of pebbles; the weathered character of flotsam I see washed up along the shore.

Atlantic Blankets Company

Atlantic Blankets began in 2007 in north Cornwall; born out of the need to find the cosiest and softest blanket to comfort a child.

Today the company, run by family team Gemma and Al, is located in the coastal village of Perranporth, where we design beautiful blankets that help create happy memories. All that you see on our website has been designed by us in Cornwall, taking inspiration from our ocean surroundings, and made with our traditional mill partners across Britain.

We are dedicated to making everything within Britain, using traditional methods and mills; helping to enrich the British wool industry.

Sarah de Larrinaga

I’m a jewellery designer/maker working exclusively in precious and semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls and sterling and fine silver. The gemstones are my inspiration and I work with them in the same way a fine artist works with oil paint, selecting colours to harmonise or contrast, textures that may be smooth or faceted, shapes varying from the jagged shapes of chips to the seductive curves of smooth polished rondelles and briolettes. Textured silver components – hearts, stars, bars, circles – catch the light.

Pencole Pens & Turnings

Maker and Purveyor of beautiful writing equipment and a range of other items. All hand turned in Cornwall - truly unique gifts for you and your friends.

Wendy Keith Designs

Over thirty four years ago Wendy Keith was asked to mend a pair of men’s shooting stockings. She grimaced at the prospect. The given pair had shrunk in a 30% wash, and the wool had 'matted' - but the experience gave Wendy an idea. That idea has blossomed into a highly successful and creative business with satisfied clients all over the world for over 30 years. She began by sourcing a few hand-knitters who had knitted 'sailors socks' close to the dock-yards at sea -ports such as Gosport, during the Second World War. This took time and great patience to achieve the quality required by the perfectionist. With an instinctive and deep love of the countryside Wendy has combined her flair for design, and her commercial experience, to become a market leader in the production of hand-knitted shooting stockings, accessories and other distinctive country knitwear with a choice of yarns such as wool/mix (machine wash) to the wonderfully sensuous Cashmere, Alpaca and Merino.

Paul Jackson

The unique character of Paul Jackson’s work derives from two interrelated processes. Each piece is first thrown on the wheel, then subtly altered in form – giving the pot an individual character and strength defined by a journey of discovery. The journey continues during decoration, where the pot’s elegance and sense of balance grow directly out of Paul’s concern for harmony between form, colour, and the painted surface.

Made For Life Organics

Made for Life Organics grew from a need for skincare that nourishes your body both inside and out. Originally developed from an orthodox medical background, the products have been developed by combining dermatological science with the strength and purity of botanicals. Since their conception, the formulations have evolved with dermatological research and that of the incredible power of nature.

Lin Lovekin Baskets

I use willow grown and harvested from my own withy beds, as well as Somerset willow to make a wide range of high quality baskets to order and on spec, for a variety of traditional and contemporary purposes. I make everyday items such as backpacks, log and linen baskets, bike baskets, large and small shoppers and have also enjoyed the challenge of some more unusual projects such as a balloon basket for an arts project, willow woven headboards for an eco development, beautiful large lampshades for a number of restaurants and cafes (see above), and even a Tudor dress for the National Trust.

Lamorna Gore

My studio is on a wild Cornish coast near St Just in Cornwall. My work focuses on simple wheel thrown porcelain forms, organic shapes, soft matt glazes and vibrant precious metal lustres. The work I create does not come from thought, it’s not heavily planned but develops from feeling and an enjoyment of working with the clay. My pots are not the result of a complex intellectual process, to me they are tiny pots of therapy. I have created a ceramic Jewellery range, complimenting the bowls by reflecting the same vibrant lustres.

Jenny Aves

Bed is the heart of the home. Births, deaths, marriages: bed is where life happens. A lot takes place in bed – not just all important sleep. When we are unwell, bed is the comforting place we retreat to, to recover. When we are in the mood for snuggling up on cold wintery nights, bed is the place we take our cocoa. When we have that book that we just can’t put down, bed provides the perfect place to read. When the children get up at the crack of dawn, it’s your bed they creep into for that sense of security, and special family time. So celebrate your relationship with your bed. Whether it’s bedtime stories, old movies, heart-to-hearts, or broken hearts, spring mornings, winter evenings, great passions, or great sorrows, bed is central to them all. Whatever you do in bed, be proud, and own it, with MY OWN BED.

Jago Illustration

I’m Jago and I have been illustrating children’s books since graduating from Falmouth 15 years ago . I live and work from my home in North Cornwall with my lovely family. I have produced illustrations for over 50 children’s books and a few magazines, as well as a TV show or two, some logos and album covers. Recently I have also participated in a series of exhibitions and signed prints of my work are now available in galleries around the UK. My wife and I have recently been working hard to expand the range of illustrated products in our online shop. Most of my children’s book work has been for publishers in the US as my agent (Ronnie Herman) is based in New York. I’m probably best known for my work with New York Times Bestselling author Sally Lloyd-Jones. Our books have sold more than 3.2 million copies and won a tidy stack of awards. I work entirely digitally using a combination of a Mac Pro and Photoshop and an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with Procreate. All my prints are produced using pigment ink and archival paper to ensure excellent lightfastness.

The motivation to create gentle children's stories for head and heart matters remains as strong as ever, helping children to relate to or recognise their own life experiences through their various characters and themes. Clare and Maria’s work has grown and evolved in the education sector where Head teachers, teachers, support workers, parents, and carers have all responded extremely positively to the gentle life lessons and vibrant illustrations.

Flamingo Paperie

In a very competitive and dynamic market such as the greetings card industry, we feel our strength is both in our artist-produced designs and also in how we bring those cards to you. No more queuing in a card shop or rushing during your lunch break to pick up a card or pushing a buggy round the card aisles in your supermarket! Our cards are not available in shops in the UK. Instead, our wonderful Flamingo Paperie Partners, who are running their own card businesses from home, can bring the cards to you, to your home, office, community centre, school, fete or market; or you can choose from our brochure or shop here online!

Emma West Ceramics

Essentially I'm a printmaker working with porcelain, handstitched embroidery and fresh plants. Some aspects of my technique are classic and well established methods while others are unique to me and evolved by me. The embroideries are reused, added to, cut down, discarded, picked up again. They have a journey of their own and so, although you might find several versions of a piece of my work, each will be unique.

Eden Project

Beautiful, ethical gifts inspired by nature. The Eden Project, an educational charity, connects us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work towards a better future. Our visitor destination in Cornwall, UK, is nestled in a huge crater. Here, massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to our striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events. Registered charity number 1093070 (The Eden Trust). Money raised supports our transformational projects and learning programmes.

Dick Pearce

In our workshop in Newquay, we handcraft bellyboards using methods and designs passed down to us by the original British maker. These classic, beautifully shaped wooden boards rediscover the heritage of surfing; stripping it back to the timeless, unadulterated thrill of being in the ocean and riding its waves. Each Dick Pearce and Friends bellyboard is designed for the whole family to enjoy, and lovingly produced to last a lifetime, longer - in fact. We hope you’ll pass your board on to the next generation, just like ours were passed down to us.

Cream Cornwall

Rebecca Heane and Alison Hughes founded Cream Cornwall in 2012 after discovering a shared passion for creating products evocative of Cornwall that were tasteful, high quality and made in Britain. Theirs was a chance meeting some might call it serendipity. They were both attending a workshop on intellectual property whilst working on their own design projects. In each beautiful product you’ll find Cream Cornwall’s distinct coastal identity - inspiration for which Rebecca and Allison find everywhere- and their shared background in textiles, design and trend forecasting affords the entire range a level of quality and attention to detail that keeps customers returning time and time again

Chloe Michell

I design and make unique one off pieces of jewellery for my clients. Many customers return to me to create bespoke jewellery to commemorate a special occasion in their life or for a loved one. It is the kind of jewellery that becomes part of their story and can passed down through the generations. I can remodel old jewellery for you using the gem stones and give them a new lease of life or make something from scratch.

Caitilin Finch Textiles

"Unique, quality textiles, for you and your home. Handmade and designed with pride from a little studio in Cornwall by the sea”. All products are made with pride and care from a small studio in my home in Cornwall overlooking the sea. I come up with a design, measure and draw it out. The pieces are hand-cut and sewn together. Once the product is finished, any final touches such as buttons are hand-sewn on. I test all my products for style, strength and durability before making them to sell.
