Sōlseed is an artisanal business that grows, saves and sells organically grown seeds in uniquely hand painted seed envelopes. Sōlseed also has an organic skincare range. Using as many homegrown products as possible. I make these myself infusing plant materials in oils for their skin benefits. Both the Seed packets and the Skincare products make really wonderful gifts along with a hand painted gift card. All the packaging I use is eco-friendly, biodegradable, reusable, recyclable, refillable or has added value.

I am supporting the Cornwall Community Foundation this year because I started a locally based Cornish company selling ethical products late last year. Sōlseed is dedicated to growing seed varieties that support natural eco-systems by encouraging people to plant seeds in their gardens for Bees, Butterflies, Wild Birds and other beneficial pollinators. I feel my ethics are in alignment with The Eden Project and on so many levels businesses who are taking steps towards a better future for all, should be collaborating and standing together.

Nestled on a farm in the heart of North Cornwall, St. Eval sustainably craft high-quality candles using a blend of traditional and contemporary methods, perfecting the art and science of candle-making for over 28 years.

St. Eval’s products are made with an emphasis on sustainability and in recognition of this, they were honoured with a Queen's Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development in 2021. This is the first-ever Queen's Award for a candle manufacturer representing the highest accolade for business success and sustainability.

I make a variety of products from organic jersey and printed cotton. 75% of my products are made using vintage sewing machines that were "saved" from landfill. All garments conform to safety regulations and are fully labelled with wash and care instructions. Point of sale packaging is paper, no single use plastic is used.

My favourite product has to be my fused glass jellyfish hangers of all colours. I make a range of different shape and size wave panels, and I love making flower themed T light holders, panels and hangers. I do a lot of one off pieces from dragonfly's to hand painted animals and birds.

Eco-conscious and ethical my shop includes vivid, rich art prints, greetings cards, desk pads and planners, calendars, stickers, badges, pins, earrings, patches and more. All designed by me and made either by me or small British businesses when I need some extra help.

All of our rubber stamps are made in our little studio, nestled deep within the Devonshire countryside. We have stamp designs for all occasions and our beautifully tactile wooden mounts are made from sustainable resources. As well as being easy to create with, our products also make fantastic gifts for creative loved ones.

My feather jewellery is designed and made by combining traditional salmon fly tying techniques with 100% recycled sterling silver or stainless steel components. Inspired by the natural beauty and complexity of feathers, I seek to express this in my designs, with every piece of jewellery being an individual statement of creation. The feathers I use are sourced from pet owners, private bird breeders, and the by-product of wildlife management. To showcase the best of these ethically sourced, and sustainable feathers, I don’t use any dyes or plastics in my work - their colours are completely natural! For my earrings, each pair is simultaneously tied using two separate vices, enabling me to create intricate, yet balanced pairs.

Efficient oven gloves, Aga and ( soon coming ) Everhot hob covers, tea towels, tablecloths, and napkins are looking into throws and making water-repellent products. Hoping to weave a new pattern, likely to be Jacquard weaving.

I sell a range of items for the home such as mugs, chopping boards and tea towels. I design and print everything myself at my studio in Devon.

My work is inspired by the sea around me, using white stoneware clay I handbuild sculptures of fish, jellyfish and octopus which are then printed and decorated using a variety of colourful paints and glazes. The Cornish’s mackerel pictures are created from arranging numerous individual handcut, formed and printed ceramic mackerel into shoals or swirling balls. They are painted, glazed and decorated with lustre that give a beautiful iridescent colouring . With Christmas in mind I make round fish baubles, cards and sea themed white ceramic decorations. All my work is original and unique.

I make bags, purses, keyrings, greetings cards and cover books using recycled chocolate, biscuit, crisp and sweetie wrappers.

We have always taken a view to source hides from regenerative farming systems producing food and wool & leather, as locally reared as possible.

This traditional leather is tanned in one of the UK’s last remaining tanneries using processes that have been passed down through the generations then turned into stunning leather goods in the hands of our leather workers right here in our Devon workshop using techniques that have been refined by years of practice.
